       โปรแกรม RipCast ช่วยให้กรฟังเพลงนอินเทอร์เน็ตมีทางเลือกเพิ่มมากขึ้นซึ่งจากเดิมที่ต้องเชื่อมต่ออินเทอร์เน็ตถึงจะฟังได้ แต่เีดี๋ยวนี้อะำำำไรก็เปลี่ยนไปยังมีวิธีการอีกหลายอย่างขอเพียงมีโปรแกรม RipCast เท่านั้น จะช่วยให้การฟังเพลงของคุณง่ายขึ้นเยอะ

   หน้าต่างของโปรแกรม RipCast  คล้ายบราวเซอร์ที่ใช้เปิดเว็บไซต์ทั่วไป แต่โปรแกรมนี้เป็นการเปิที่เฉพาะเจาะจงลงไปคือ เปิดหน้าที่มีเฉพาะสถานีวิทยุบนอินเทอร์เน็ตเท่านั้น

   ดยคุณต้องใส่ URL  ลงในช่อง เพื่อค้นหารายชื่อสถานีวิทยุที่เปิดให้บริการเสียก่อน อย่างในตัวอย่างผู้เขียนเข้าไปที่ www.shoutcast.com โปรแกรมจะแสดงรายชื่อสถานีวิทยุขึ้นมาให้เลือกอย่างมากมาย

   ด้วยฟังก์ชันการค้นหาหคุณสามารถใส่การค้นหาเป็นแบบหาจากชื่อศิลปิน ชื่อเพลงหรือประเภทของเพลงก็ได้ โปรแกรมจะคัดกรองเอาเฉพาะสถานีที่เกี่ยวข้องมาให้โดยเมื่อได้สถานีวิทยุที่ต้องการแล้วคุณต้องเซฟรายชื่อสถานีนั้นไว้ใน Lists เพื่อให้ครั้งต่อไปเมื่อเรียกใช้งานจะได้ง่ายขึ้น

   เมื่อเลือกและเซฟชื่อไว้แล้ว โปรแกรมจะดาวน์โหลดเพลงและเสียงเพลงของดีเจเก็บเอาไว้ในฮาร์ดดิสก์ ตราบใดที่คุณยังเปิดโปรแกรม RipCast อยู่ในโปรแกรมยังคงดาวน์โหลดให้ตลอดเวลา พอปิดโปรแกรมเมื่อไร RipCast จึงจะนำไฟล์ที่บันทึกไว้นั้นมาเล่นให้คุณฟังภายหลัง
